The Challenge

AARK Dental’s previous website was slow, templated, and lacked essential UX elements. For example, AARK’s previous website lacked an appointment booking form and rather opted for showing clients a phone number to call. In addition, the website lacked clear service explanations and featured no visual representation of their clinic. Despite AARK being a modern clinic with many state of the art technologies, the old website had no pictures or mentions of these benefits, therefore leaving potential clients clueless. Because of these flaws, the old website was generating zero online leads.T

he first challenge for us was to create a new website that provided real patient leads by showing website visitors the modern up-to-date office aesthetics and equipments for dentistry. In addition, we wanted to quickly communicate to visitors the convenient location of being at the entrance of Coquitlam centre mall.

Our second challenge was coming up with ways to increase user traffic to the new website. AARK’s old website generated less than 50 organic visitors each month, resulting in zero conversion.

The solution

We began with a full redesign of the homepage and all supporting pages. Our strategy focused on what potential patients need to feel confident in taking the next step:

  • Clear location and contact information

  • Service overviews to keep patients informed of AARK’s capabilities

  • High-quality visuals of the clinic to build familiarity and trust

  • Easy ways to book an appointment online or by phone

We studied top-performing dental websites across Canada and the U.S. to design a modern, fast, and trustworthy user experience tailored for conversion. A key improvement was adding an integrated appointment form directly on the homepage, supported by persistent CTAs throughout the site.

To drive long-term growth, we also launched an ongoing SEO content strategy, publishing monthly blogs on relevant dental topics to improve visibility and search rankings. This would ensure AARK was reliably building organic traffic to their website each month. The effects of this SEO marketing would compound over the years.

Lessons

Working with AARK Dental reinforced a critical lesson: in industries like healthcare, trust is everything—and that trust starts with the website. Patients visiting a dental clinic’s website are often anxious, time-constrained, or comparing multiple options. If the experience is clunky, outdated, or unclear, they’ll bounce. That’s why we focused not only on aesthetics but on simplifying decision-making and reducing friction.

Key information such as location, the office itself, service offerings, and booking options are all readily available to website visitors on first glance. This project reminded us that in service-based businesses, a well-optimized digital experience is necessary for growth.
